EXPLORING THEMES OF ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP, AGING, AND PROTESTING THE PATRIARCHY
Dear Womanhouse artists MichaelAnne Erlewine, Rita Lee, Brenda Oelbaum and Margaret Parker each developed and performed pieces as part of the exhibit. Art historian Dr. Ellen Schwartz gave a lecture comparing Dear Womanhouse with its 1972 inspiration. Guest artists Musique Noire, Donna Jackson and poets lisa eddy and Carol Morris all added their perspectives to what it means to be female in America in 2018.
